Spatial Analysis of Lymphatic Filariasis Case and Mosquito Resting Place in Rural Area of Brebes Regency, Indonesia

Brebes Regency is an endemic area of Lymphatic Filariasis (LF) and has the highest number LF case in Central Java Province, Indonesia. Despite it located coastal region, which already known as one risk factors LF, distributed more rural area, away from shoreline. Adult mosquito need a certain site, called resting place, to rest after before bitting for blood meal. The purpose this study was analyze spatially distribution place three subdistricts whose Regency. are areas. observed places were cattle pen, unmaintained bushes, maintained bushes. data patients obtained Health Office stood at 14 patients. Spatial mapping composed. 4 flight radius 3 7 both unmaintaned bushes pen. It indicated togather with pen main contributed transmission.
